Senior Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Peer review code from external developers, ensuring industry best practices and internal coding standards are met.
• Document areas for improvement and provide feedback to external contractor companies and internal leadership to maintain consistent standards.
• Build rapport with contractor companies, monitor their training efforts, and report on progress.
• Assess external developers' skill levels, considering their role, learning capability, and fit for our development team.
• Collaborate with Application Development Managers and Architects to identify opportunities for improving code standards.
• Communicate with Code Owners to address their concerns and provide feedback to external vendors.

Must-Have Skills:

• Advanced English level (written and spoken)
• RSpec
• MySQL
• Git
• Unix (Linux/MacOS)
• 6+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• JavaScript

Nice-to-Have:

• Vue.js
