Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK as long as they are comfortable working in a remote environment and travelling in to one of the main offices in Dorset, Bristol, Hampshire once a month for the Product and Engineering meet up. This is fully expensed for all travel and hotel if required. The main offices are based in Bristol and Dorset.

Areti Group has exclusively partnered with a rapidly growing fintech company based in London who are building out a greenfield team and looking for up to 40 new Software Engineers with experience working with highly scalable microservice architecture by the end of the year.

We are now on the lookout for Software Tech Leads/Staff Engineers who will tech control and direction of a number of different software teams.

These roles are FULLY REMOTE and offer you the choice of laptop and tech equipment to make sure you can be the best version of yourself.

As a software team lead/staff engineer working for this organization, you must be able to show that you are willing to self-develop and have a real passion for what you do.

Can you deliver…

Here's What We're Looking For

Experience in being a hands-on staff engineer or technical lead

• 4+ years’ experience in either Java, Ruby on rails, React Native, PHP, Python or Vue.JS but if you are a good tech lead and happy to pick up new technologies we want to hear from you.
  
  

One Or More Of

Experience in leading multiple software projects

• Cloud Infrastructure – AWS
• OWASP and/or Similar web Security
• Rest API’s, GraphQL, gRPC
• Building microservices and associated APIs
• PostgreSQL/DynamoDB
• Devops practices – CI/CD Pipelines
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Microservice / Event Driven Design - An understanding of the complexities with event-driven design and how to best approach them, ie eventual consistency, transactions within a distributed system
• A great communicator - We're looking for someone who is comfortable explaining the technical to the non-technical, and "working out loud", or WOL'ing as we like to call it
