• Are you a Windows Engineer with a flair for development, automation, and innovation? team.blue is on the lookout for someone like you to lead our Windows operations into a new era.
• Our recent mergers and acquisitions have left us with a patchwork of Windows-based shared web hosting platforms. Managing and implementing new features has become a challenge. Our solution is to unify these platforms, enhance security, and standardize operations.
• The successful candidate will join our international Shared Hosting Windows team to unify and streamline all our European Shared Windows Hosting platforms into a single, cohesive environment. This unified platform will serve as the foundation for crafting exceptional products and services for our valued customers.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design secure web hosting platforms
• Develop new platform features
• Coordinate migrations
• Automate platform operations
• Work closely with product management, providing technical insights for project guidance
• Help the team lead with advice on the architecture and technical direction of a software project
• Provide accurate estimations and collaborate on project kick-start assumptions
• Adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security requirements
• Advocate for continuous improvement in development processes and technologies
• Collaborate on cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges and find innovative solutions
  
  

Requirements

• Expert-level IIS configuration, management, and security
• Troubleshooting / Debugging
• Deployment
• Isolation
• Proficiency in
• Plesk
• NTFS permissions
• Log analysis
• PowerShell / Automation
• General Windows Server management
• Monitoring methods
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in effectively communicating security issues and solutions related to code to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.)

• MS SQL Server configuration, management, and security
• REST API design/consumption
• Docker
• Elastic Stack
• Puppet and/or Ansible
• Gitlab and pipelines
