Data Engineer

We are looking for a talented Data Engineer with strong Power BI expertise to join our team on a long-term remote contract. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels at building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in transforming data into valuable insights by leveraging your expertise in Power BI and other data engineering tools.

As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable data architectures and create visually compelling dashboards and reports that help drive data-informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure the efficient processing and transformation of data from various sources.
• Develop and optimize data models, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.
• Create and manage Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and ensure data solutions align with business goals.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all systems and reports.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, optimizing data workflows for scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to improve data-driven decision-making processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on data architecture, ETL processes, and pipeline development.
• Expertise in Power BI—designing, building, and optimizing reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup, with excellent time management and communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy..
