Data Science - AI Engineering
We are a rapidly growing startup seeking a talented and motivated data scientist to join our AI/Data Science team. Our team is composed of talented, humble, and curious individuals with backgrounds in high-tech startups and academia.
The selected candidate will work on exciting projects focused on creating products based on structured and unstructured data, making a significant impact within the company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and executing DS-related projects from inception through development and deployment.
- Providing open and constructive feedback on ongoing projects based on prior experience.
- Conducting research and literature reviews to make informed decisions and stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and ML.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure timely delivery and high-quality project outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A PhD with applied ML in any field or at least 3 years of experience in data science.
- A solid understanding of machine learning, with a particular interest in NLP techniques.
- A proven track record of solving business problems using data.
- Strong coding skills and proficiency in object-oriented programming with Python.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps frameworks to deploy and manage models in production.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and experiment with modern technologies.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English (interviews will be conducted in English).
