Our client, a product development company providing IT services, is looking for a Mid to Senior Python Developer to join their team and complete data-driven web development work. This position is 100% remote, and the client is headquartered in Dallas.

Who you are

A naturally curious Python Developer with a strong sense of self-direction. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is comfortable working with data and analytics. You are insightful and able to draw conclusions and propose solutions.

What you do (responsibilities):

• Participate in data-related projects to develop scalable and efficient solutions using Python frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications
• Work closely with stakeholders and other team members to understand requirements and create high-quality, efficient code that meets their needs
• Test code to ensure it is error-free, performs as expected, and troubleshoot any issues
• Provide support and maintenance for existing applications
  
  

What you know:

• Necessary Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer using Python
• Hands-on experience with Python’s Data Library for data manipulation and analysis. (Pandas, Polars, and/or Glue)
• Experienced in JSON (pulling complex JSON apart, parsing it, and flattening it)
• AWS S3
• Experience with Athena
• Strong understanding of MongoDB
• A general understanding of analytics
  
  

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. We are open to bootcamp graduates with 3+ years of professional Python experience
• Experience with other programming languages and frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
