User Experience Designer

Title: UI/UX

Location: 100% remote

• Prefer ATL or D.C.

Duration: 12 months - no extensions- could convert/other opps

Compensation:

$45/hr to $50/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Must Haves:

• 4+ years and a bachelor's degree (#1 must have NO FLEX (not even a month))
• Experience with different types of UX Design (Web, Mobile, Experiences, processes, products, etc.)
• Research experience (specifically user interviews)

Tools and tech:

• Miro OR mural experience
• Figma

Plusses:

• Design degree (UX degree, human centered design degree, etc.)
• Experience in a government environment or healthcare

Job Description:

A federal client of Insight Global is looking for a UX/UI Designer/Researcher to join their team. This team is responsible for a working alongside a federal agency to review the grants application process and create a better user experience. This role will be 50/50 design and research. This design could be processing improvement, creation of new SOPs, user guides, etc. This person is expected to be able to conduct user interviews, understand where the impact points are, and then create a solution to those painpoints. This person will work closely with the change management consultant.
