Job Description
YOUR MISSION
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
- Develop and maintain APIs for use by frontends, or for internal system communication
- Actively monitor systems, identify bugs and bottlenecks and design solutions to the problems
- Work with Product Managers to extend applications with new functionalities
YOUR PROFILE
- 5+ years of professional experience in IT and at least 3 years of experience as Ruby developer
- Deep knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework and popular ruby libraries (rspec, sidekiq, devise, …)
- Experience with developing, monitoring and maintaining APIs
- Solid understanding of OOP and TDD practices
- Experience with relational databases (postgres, mysql, …)
- Solid understanding of docker, kubernetes knowledge is a plus
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies and frameworks
- Basic understanding of AWS and web application security
- Full professional fluency in English, German is a plus.
