BBC GLOBAL SERVICES IS HIRNG SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER!

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to join our growing team. As a pivotal member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of proven experience in managing social media accounts for brands, with a strong understanding of social media metrics and analytics.

Position: Social Media Manager

Location: Full Remote

Job Type: Full-time 9am-6pm M-F EST

Entry Salary: 35,000 PHP (or more, depending on relevant years of experience) + benefits & allowances

Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.

- Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

- Monitor and analyze social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for improvement.

- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to create social media campaigns that align with business goals.

- Manage and oversee social media content calendar and scheduling to ensure consistent messaging.

- Monitor social media channels for customer comments, feedback, and inquiries; respond in a timely and professional manner.

- Stay updated with the latest social media best practices, technologies, and trends.

- Use social media management tools to manage and optimize social media performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.

- Proven track record of managing social media platforms and growing followership.

- Strong understanding of social media analytics and metrics.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Creative thinker with a passion for content creation and storytelling.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
