Experience Needed As a Lead Power Electronics Engineer
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in mixed signal and power electronics.
- Experience with SMPS is advantageous.
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as PSpice, SIMetrix, Matlab-Simulink-Simscape is helpful, and knowledge of LLC is desirable.
- The candidate should demonstrate the ability to understand SMPS hardware system requirements, devise control schemes, and apply digital hardware to meet requirements.
- Proficiency in moving between the analogue and digital domain is essential.
- A BSc in subjects related to power electronics is expected, with a relevant MSc / PhD being advantageous.
- The candidate should possess a solid grounding in the principles of electronics design, knowledge of available components, their performance, and suppliers. Understanding of PCB design rules and industry standards of workmanship is necessary.
