■Your Role

You will be responsible for backend development for a VTuber avatar creation application currently in its 0-to-1 phase. We are looking for a server-side engineer with a genuine passion for Japanese pop culture, including anime and manga.

As a server-side engineer, join in building the core infrastructure of our avatar platform from the ground up!

■Responsibilities

Design, development, and operation of APIs and backend features using TypeScript and Hono

Development and operation of real-time communication using Node.js

Data design and performance optimization using RDBMS and caching

Design and operation of asynchronous processing and distributed jobs utilizing Pub/Sub and task queues

API design for integration with front-end applications and internal tools

Implementation and operation of observability (Monitoring / Logging / Tracing)

Implementation of CI/CD and improvement of the development experience (accelerating automated testing and deployment)

Design and code reviews with a focus on security and reliability

Close collaboration with executive management, product owners, the design team, and mobile engineers

Cloud: Google Cloud (AlloyDB, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, Firebase, etc.)
