The Role

The People Advisor understands, and is passionate about, how a creative agency operates and is keen to take their HR career forward in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Reporting to the People Partners and working within a large team, you will be able to build and forge great relationships with staff of all levels across the Group, advise on a range of HR issues and best practices, be solutions-focused, and have a keen eye for detail.
Role And Responsibilities
- Handling family leave consultations with all employees, ensuring that our parental leave offering is best in class and running smoothly. Ensure that we are regularly benchmarking our offering and processes with our competitors.
- Advise on flexible working applications and manage applications and meetings.
- Be a ‘go-to’ person for internal HR systems
- Supplying data requests and assisting People Business Partners with monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc HR reports, proactively picking up those required for the IPA and RFI submissions.
- Assist in managing the annual career review process ensuring that all employees receive a timely review and that objectives are set and agreed.
- Manage the coordination and running of the company induction for new joiners, including delivering the Be Happy induction.
- Arrange and lead the monthly people meeting, ensuring all data is up to date.
- Delivering training as necessary (e.g., quarterly manager inductions).
- Ensure the HR Inbox is managed, and queries are responded to within 24 hours. Escalate or delegate as necessary.
- Apply for and manage VISA applications across the group.
- Handling probation meetings and outcomes.
- Keep up to date with new legislation and government initiatives.
- Assisting with any ad hoc HR duties and tasks (e.g., note-taking in ER meetings, drafting letters, actioning for payroll, etc.).
- Be accessible and approachable to all employees.
