Senior Identity Platform Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you'll own the identity platform that authorization and authentication depend on. You'll design secure integrations across modern identity standards while building the Ruby on Rails services and API middleware that power multiple downstream systems. Your focus is the identity domain itself, ensuring the platform stays secure and reliable as legacy authorization models are modernized. This is your opportunity to specialize in identity engineering, working at the core of how systems establish trust and manage access.

What You'll Do

• Own and evolve the identity platform, including authorization services and API middleware built in Ruby on Rails.
• Design secure identity integrations across enterprise standards and protocols.
• Lead the migration from legacy authorization models to modern identity architectures.
• Ensure the identity platform remains secure, scalable, and reliable across all downstream systems.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in identity and access management engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Deep expertise designing secure integrations using Auth0, PostgreSQL, SAML, OIDC, enterprise SSO, and SCIM.
• Proven experience migrating from legacy authorization models to modern identity architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
