WHO YOU ARE
You’re a Mobile App Developer with specific experience building Android applications.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and maintain robust and scalable web and mobile applications using both React Native and Kotlin.
- Work with AWS services such as Amplify, AppSync, Lambda, and Cognito
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Lead and contribute to the establishment of coding patterns and best practices
- Enforce coding standards and perform thorough code reviews during pull requests
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering their growth and development
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the React Native and Kotlin communities
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues in a timely manner
POSITION SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a focus on Native Application development
- Strong proficiency in React Native and Kotlin
- 2+ years of experience working with AWS Amplify or another GraphQL implementation
- Solid understanding of modern software development principles, methodologies, and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Prior experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior developers
- Ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment and effectively manage time and tasks

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with serverless architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of TypeScript or other strongly typed languages
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong presence in the developer community
