About The Role
This is a core infrastructure role at a pre-seed energy tech startup building the foundational systems that power dynamic electricity plans — including a modular billing engine, low-level energy-market communication protocols, and a full accounting ledger. You'll be a key contributor shaping scalable, reliable backend architecture at an early and critical stage of the company's growth.
What You'll Do
- Design systems that tame complexity and make hard problems tractable at scale.
- Build and scale core backend services that underpin dynamic electricity plans and billing infrastructure.
- Move fast with a bias for action, shipping meaningful work in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
- Set and uphold a high technical bar across the codebase and team.
