We are seeking a skilled Data Lead to enhance our data infrastructure and support advanced analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in building and maintaining data pipelines, with strong expertise in SQL, Python, Redshift, DBT, and Databricks. This role requires a detailed understanding of both the technical aspects of data engineering and the practical implications of data at scale.
What You'll Do:
- Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices for data integrity and speed.
- Use data manipulation and transformation techniques to solve complex problems involving large-scale data pipelines.
- Implement data ingestion routines using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes with SQL, Python, and other technologies.
- Document all processes and procedures in detail.

- Proficient in SQL and Python programming.
- Solid understanding of DBT for managing data transformation and workflow.
- Experience with Databricks for large-scale data processing and analytics (certification is a nice to have)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to build complex systems using the aforementioned technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to work from the Cali office.
