Job Description
What you will do
- Run manual functional and regression testing on Android apps (React/Capacitor-based) before every release, across a matrix of real devices and OS versions.
- Test the full ad lifecycle on each app — banner, interstitial, rewarded and app-open — checking that ads load, display correctly, and reward only when they should (no reward-on-failure, no double-grants, no obstructed placements).
- Verify the points and rewards economy end to end: caps and cooldowns are respected, milestones fire once, streaks and daily rewards match what is advertised on screen, and wallet balances match the underlying ledger.
- Write and maintain test cases and smoke-test checklists per app, and validate new features against acceptance criteria before sign-off.
- Log clear, reproducible bug reports — steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual behaviour, screenshots or screen recordings, device/OS, and a severity/priority call.
- Perform release-candidate sign-off before a Play Store rollout, and spot-check Play Console vitals (crashes, ANRs, staged rollout health) after release.
- Regression-test after every hotfix and keep the smoke-test checklist for each app current as features change.
- Work directly with the app team to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and close the loop — re-testing rather than just filing and forgetting.
- Where relevant, sanity-check onboarding, redemption and (for FinPro) financial-literacy flows for correctness and clarity, not just crashes.

What we are looking for
- 1–4 years of hands-on manual QA / testing experience on Android mobile apps — games or consumer apps preferred.
- Comfortable with both structured, test-case-driven testing and open-ended exploratory testing.
- Writes bug reports a developer can act on without asking follow-up questions — precise repro steps, not “it doesn’t work.”
- Some familiarity with how mobile ad networks behave (rewarded / interstitial / banner) is a strong plus, since every app in the portfolio is ad-monetised.
- Basic familiarity with Google Play Console (release tracks, staged rollout, vitals) is a plus, not a requirement.
- Methodical and detail-oriented — comfortable running the same regression pass carefully, release after release.
- Based in Indore or willing to relocate; this is an on-site role.
