Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Tester - Roblox Gameplay (Remote, Canada)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Tester - Brookhaven based in Canada.

Join a fully remote quality assurance team supporting a leading Roblox roleplay experience played by millions of users. You’ll help ensure every update delivers a smooth, reliable, and engaging player experience across mobile, tablet, PC, and console. The role combines hands-on testing with a strong player-first mindset, requiring curiosity, precision, and excellent attention to detail. You’ll work closely with QA, design, and development teams to identify risks before releases reach players. Your ability to reproduce issues and communicate findings clearly will directly influence product quality. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact on a large-scale gaming experience while working in a globally distributed environment.

Accountabilities

• Test the game in both live and QA environments across mobile, tablet, PC, and console, ensuring broad test coverage and identifying issues early.
• Reproduce, investigate, and document bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, logs, and other relevant supporting materials.
• Approach testing from the player’s perspective, representing community expectations and identifying issues that could negatively affect the user experience.
• Collaborate with the QA Lead to develop and execute comprehensive test plans designed to anticipate potential issues ahead of releases.
• Work closely with other QA testers to communicate testing progress, risks, findings, and results, ensuring effective coverage across assignments.
• Maintain a methodical approach to repetitive or high-volume testing while meeting deadlines and release requirements.
• Help protect the quality and consistency of the game by identifying inconsistencies, defects, and details that may not meet expected standards.
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in a QA, testing, gaming, or other detail-oriented environment is valuable, with professional Roblox game development or QA experience considered a plus.

• Active experience as a Roblox player and a strong understanding of Roblox gameplay, player behavior, and community expectations.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings clearly and concisely.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies, defects, or unexpected behavior.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and maintain consistent testing coverage.
• A focused, patient, and methodical approach to repetitive or high-volume tasks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at different levels and communicate progress, risks, and results clearly.
• Availability to work full-time, 40+ hours per week.
