This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about solving complex usability challenges and transforming business requirements into clean, functional, and visually engaging user interfaces.
The ideal candidate has experience designing software applications rather than primarily marketing or website interfaces and possesses a strong understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and interface designs that improve product usability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Create user-centered designs by developing sitemaps, customer journey maps, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for software applications.
- Translate written business requirements and complex workflows into intuitive, user-friendly interface designs.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to create solutions that balance user needs with business objectives.
- Apply User-Centered Design (UCD) principles and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) best practices throughout the design process.
- Conduct usability-focused design iterations based on project requirements and stakeholder feedback.
- Develop high-fidelity interface designs that promote usability, accessibility, and consistency across software products.
- Present design concepts, user flows, and prototypes clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain design consistency by following established design systems, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams while managing multiple design projects and deadlines.
- Continuously research emerging UX/UI trends, tools, and methodologies to improve product experiences.
