Technical release manager

• Manage the various independent product release trains through their full lifecycle.
• Assist the product managers and team leaders with coordinating and scheduling multi deployment releases.
• Own, monitor, and enforce the testing and release phases of our SDLC and our change management policies.
• Own the QA process and train the QA team members.
• Master our usage of Azure DevOps and generate documentation, guidelines, and training material.
• English Communication

Responsibilities:

• Own and run our independent release trains for our various products & services.
• Oversee automated and manual CAB procedures and hold the leadership teams accountable to company policy.
• Define and own our QA/Testing processes and strategy and train our teammates across all teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks to delivery and initiatives and coordinate with product and team leadership to facilitate effective dependency management.
• Find ways to improve our current processes and generate documentation, guidelines, and training material.

Required skills:

1. Strong spoken and written English
2. Strong communication skills
3. Experience with release scoping, project management, and production release activities.
4. Experience with QA and burden of proof/test planning.
5. Experience working with and delivering multi-tenant software-as-a-service (SaaS).
6. Experience with Agile and Azure DevOps (the Microsoft product).

Desired Skills:

1. Experience with low/no-code test automation tools.
2. Experience with progressive release techniques including feature flags and dark launches.
3. Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans
