Title: IT Security Engineer

Location: Canada - 100% remote
Length: 6 month contract
Salary: Negotiable rate
Key Responsibilities:
- Identity & Access Management: Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions using Okta and Auth0 to ensure secure authentication and authorization across various applications and systems.
Technical Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IT security engineering, with a strong focus on identity and access management.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing IAM solutions using Okta and Auth0.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Okta, including SSO, MFA, and API integrations.
- Strong experience with Auth0, including user authentication flows, rules, hooks, and custom policies.
- Working knowledge of directory services such as Active Directory, LDAP, and Azure AD.
- Familiarity with security protocols and standards, such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their IAM services.
- Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, threat modelling, and risk assessment in IAM implementations.
