Head of Web3 Developer Relations

Salesforce Masters is a specialized technology and product consultancy partnering with high-growth companies across digital assets, institutional finance, blockchain infrastructure, and enterprise technology.

As we expand our Web3 ecosystem and developer-facing capabilities, we are seeking an experienced Head of Web3 Developer Relations to lead developer engagement, ecosystem growth, technical community strategy, and relationships with blockchain developers and engineering teams globally.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding of blockchain and Web3 infrastructure with proven experience building developer communities, creating technical content, managing ecosystem programs, and establishing relationships with developers, protocols, infrastructure providers, and technology partners.

This is a fully remote position open to professionals globally.

Own the global Developer Relations strategy and build a strong technical ecosystem around Web3 products, platforms, and infrastructure.

• Develop and execute the global Developer Relations and Developer Ecosystem strategy.
• Build and maintain relationships with blockchain developers, engineering teams, protocols, infrastructure providers, startups, and Web3 communities.
• Serve as a technical ambassador between the company, its products, and the broader developer ecosystem.
• Design and execute developer programs, technical workshops, hackathons, meetups, webinars, and community initiatives.
• Build and manage developer communities across Discord, Telegram, GitHub, forums, and other relevant platforms.
• Create and oversee technical content including documentation, tutorials, integration guides, technical articles, demos, videos, and developer resources.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to gather developer feedback and translate ecosystem needs into actionable product improvements.
• Identify friction points in developer onboarding, documentation, APIs, SDKs, and integration workflows.
• Support developers and technical partners during product integrations and provide technical guidance throughout the implementation process.
• Develop strategies to increase developer adoption, API usage, SDK adoption, integrations, and ecosystem activity.
• Build relationships with blockchain foundations, protocols, infrastructure companies, developer platforms, universities, and technical communities.
• Represent Salesforce Masters at major blockchain, Web3, developer, and technology conferences.
• Identify emerging blockchain technologies, developer tools, protocols, and ecosystem opportunities.
• Establish and monitor Developer Relations KPIs, including developer acquisition, activation, retention, integrations, community growth, and ecosystem engagement.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Partnerships, and Sales teams on developer-focused initiatives.
• Develop strategic partnerships with developer platforms, infrastructure providers, and Web3 ecosystem organisations.

• Lead and mentor Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, and Ecosystem teams as the function grows.
• Present ecosystem performance, developer feedback, strategic opportunities, and growth initiatives to senior leadership.

• 5+ years of proven experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Developer Ecosystems, Technical Community Management, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a Head of Developer Relations, Head of Developer Advocacy, Developer Relations Lead, Developer Ecosystem Lead, or equivalent within Web3, blockchain, fintech, or technology.
• Strong practical understanding of blockchain technology and Web3 infrastructure.
• Experience working with developers, engineering teams, protocols, APIs, SDKs, and technical integrations.
• Proven track record of building and scaling developer communities.
• Experience designing and executing hackathons, developer programs, workshops, technical events, or ecosystem initiatives.
• Strong understanding of blockchain development concepts, including smart contracts, wallets, APIs, SDKs, RPCs, nodes, and blockchain infrastructure.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both developers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience creating or overseeing high-quality technical documentation and developer resources.
• Strong understanding of developer onboarding, adoption funnels, and technical product growth.
• Experience collecting developer feedback and translating it into product and engineering requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working with distributed, international teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-driven, strategic, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, fully remote environment.

• Hands-on software development experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Solidity, Rust, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience building smart contracts or blockchain applications.
• Previous experience working with major blockchain ecosystems such as Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, or similar networks.

• Existing relationships with blockchain developers, technical communities, protocol teams, and Web3 foundations.
• Experience leading large-scale hackathons or developer conferences.
• Experience working with GitHub, Discord, Telegram, Discourse, or similar developer/community platforms.
• Familiarity with DeFi, NFTs, tokenization, stablecoins, DAOs, and other Web3 applications.
• Experience working with blockchain infrastructure or developer tooling companies.
• Previous experience managing Developer Relations or Developer Advocacy teams.
• Experience developing developer incentive programs, grants, ambassador programs, or ecosystem funds.
• Experience working with institutional blockchain or enterprise Web3 clients.
• Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.

Competitive annual salary: €150,000 – €180,000, commensurate with experience
