We are a diverse, international team of tech-enthusiasts, innovators, and real estate nerds. We believe in collaboration, excellence, and building products that our users love.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will help our product, marketing, and operations teams make sense of our rapidly expanding product and user data, turning them into clear and actionable insights.

You will take the time to truly understand our business, our products, and the data behind them. You'll learn our database schema from the ground up, knowing what each data point means and why it matters. From there, you'll improve our existing reporting systems, build new dashboards that drive real decisions, respond to ad hoc questions from across the business, and play an active role in keeping our data clean, reliable, and trustworthy.

Our perfect candidate bridges the gap between tech and business, as well as geography. You have the analytical foundation of a data analyst, but you naturally look at data through a commercial lens, always asking what the numbers mean for the business, not just what they say. In this role, you will work daily with our sales and marketing teams in the US while collaborating closely with our product and engineering teams in Finland, acting as a connective thread across both worlds.

What You’ll Do
  • Analyze & Extract: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract meaningful insights from our PostgreSQL databases and data warehouse regarding app usage, scan volumes, and customer retention.
  • Visualize: Design, build, and maintain interactive business intelligence dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight to track KPIs across global teams.
  • Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with the US sales & marketing team to optimize growth strategies, while aligning with the Finland product & development teams to turn technical product data into actionable business strategies.
  • Support Data Pipelines: Help manage and monitor our customer data pipelines, ensuring user events from our mobile app and web platform are accurately captured.
  • Support Workflow Automation: Help maintain automated data syncs and operational workflows between internal platforms and third-party tools.

  • What You Bring to the Table
    • Background: A degree or strong foundational background in Engineering, Data Analytics, Economics, Business, or a related field that demonstrates both technical aptitude and commercial awareness.
    • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or a relevant quantitative role (internships count!).
    • Database & Data Warehousing Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience querying PostgreSQL databases and working within a data warehouse environment.
    • Business Intelligence: Experience creating reports and visualizations in AWS QuickSight (or a strong background in similar tools like Tableau or PowerBI with a willingness to learn QuickSight quickly).
    • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. You should be comfortable navigating different time zones and translating technical findings to non-technical stakeholders across the globe.
    • Business Mindset & Attitude: You're genuinely curious about how data connects to business growth, revenue, and customer behavior. You don't just pull numbers. You ask why they matter, push back when something doesn't add up, and take full ownership of getting to the right answer. You roll up your sleeves, think critically under pressure, take on challenges without waiting to be asked, and get things done.
    Bonus Points If You Have:
    • Experience with Segment or other Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) for tracking user behavior.
    • Experience using Zapier (or Make) and working with standard REST APIs to automate workflows.
    • Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation.
    • Experience working in PropTech, real estate, SaaS or mobile apps.

    At CubiCasa, we offer you:
    • A meaningful mission statement: “Floor plan on every listing”. Everyone and every decision in our company is centered around that singular mission.
    • We offer flexibility in how and where you work, but this role benefits from in-person collaboration at least 1 to 2 days a week in our Helsinki office. If you’re currently outside of Finland or Uusimaa area, and want to join the team, we'll do our utmost to support a smooth relocation.
    • Teams in the U.S., Vietnam and Brazil celebrate the wins and support to get your job done.
    • Competitive salary, with an attractive benefits package including lunch, well-being, and bike benefits provided on top of your base salary.
    • Wide healthcare service
