Head of Mobile Development (C++/iOS/Android) - Team Leadership & Technical Direction

We are looking for a Head of Mobile Development who can combine team management with technical leadership and hands-on development.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a Team Lead.
• Strong C++ skills and hands-on experience working with production code, including reading and analyzing existing code, debugging, making changes, and implementing new functionality. This is a mandatory requirement, as the core logic of both our iOS and Android applications is written in C++.
• Hands-on development experience with either Objective-C or Java; strong proficiency in at least one of these languages is required.
• Knowledge of Swift is a strong advantage; experience with Kotlin or other mobile development languages is a plus.
• Deep technical expertise in at least one mobile platform: iOS or Android.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design principles.
• Experience analyzing business requirements and breaking them down into technical tasks.
• Ability to make technical decisions, conduct code reviews, and ensure high code quality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team by setting goals, prioritizing work, allocating resources, monitoring delivery, and supporting team members’ professional development.
• Ensure that every team member understands the goals and priorities.
• Work with internal stakeholders and maintain clear and transparent communication.
• Combine team management with hands-on software development.
• Act as a Lead Developer for at least one platform: iOS or Android.
• Participate in architecture design, implementation of key technical solutions, and resolution of complex engineering challenges.
• Work directly with the production codebase, including C++: analyze code, fix defects, make changes, and contribute to the implementation of new functionality.
• Conduct code reviews and oversee development quality, technical debt, and the technical evolution of the products.
