Job Description


Amazon PPC Manager (3+ Years Experience)


Overview

We are looking for an experienced Amazon PPC Manager to manage and optimise our Amazon advertising strategy across multiple marketplaces.


This role will be responsible for planning and executing Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP campaigns, managing budgets and bids, and reporting on advertising performance against revenue and profitability targets.


The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Ads accounts, strong analytical skills, and experience collaborating with the marketplace and creative teams to improve campaign performance.


This is a remote role working closely with our eCommerce team.


Key Responsibilities


Campaign Strategy & Management

  • Plan, launch, and manage Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP campaigns
  • Build and maintain campaign structures aligned to product, category, and launch priorities
  • Develop and execute PPC strategy to support new product launches, seasonal pushes, and evergreen ASINs
  • Coordinate advertising plans with inventory availability and promotional calendar


Keyword & Targeting Management

  • Conduct keyword and product targeting research
  • Harvest search terms and convert high performers into exact match campaigns
  • Manage negative keyword and negative product targeting to reduce wasted spend
  • Monitor and expand targeting opportunities based on competitor and category insights


Bid & Budget Management

  • Manage daily and campaign-level budgets to maximise return within spend targets
  • Optimise bids using manual and automated/rule-based strategies
  • Apply dayparting and placement bid adjustments to improve efficiency
  • Reallocate budget across campaigns and marketplaces based on performance


Performance Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare weekly and monthly PPC performance reports
  • Track key metrics including: advertising spend and revenue, ACOS / TACOS, ROAS, click-through rate and conversion rate, impressions and search term performance
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate them into action plans
  • Present performance updates to leadership with clear recommendations


Budget Forecasting & Planning

  • Forecast monthly and quarterly advertising budgets against revenue targets
  • Model spend scenarios for new launches, promotions, and peak trading periods (e.g. Prime Day, Q4)
  • Track actual spend against forecast and flag variances early


Creative & Listing Collaboration

  • Work with the marketplace and design teams to align ad creative with listing content and A+ content
  • Provide input on which ASINs and listings are ready to scale with paid support
  • Flag listing issues (suppressed listings, poor conversion) that are limiting ad performance


Competitor & Market Monitoring

  • Track competitor advertising activity, share of voice, and category trends
  • Identify opportunities to improve targeting and creative based on competitor benchmarking
  • Monitor category CPC trends and adjust strategy accordingly


Product Launch Support

  • Build launch PPC plans to drive early sales velocity and ranking
  • Support ranking strategies through targeted keyword campaigns
  • Coordinate launch timelines with the marketplace and marketing teams


Requirements:

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience managing Amazon Advertising accounts
  • Experience managing Amazon Ads console (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display)
  • Experience managing accounts with £500K+ / $1M+ in Amazon revenue
  • Experience managing advertising across US, UK, or EU marketplaces preferred
  • Experience with Prime Day / peak event advertising planning



Skills

  • Strong understanding of Amazon PPC strategy, bid optimisation, and campaign structure
  • Ability to analyse performance data and translate it into optimisation actions
  • Strong grasp of ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, and how they relate to overall profitability
  • Experience forecasting and managing advertising budgets
  • Experience working with marketplace and design teams to align ads with listing content
  • Comfortable working with large data sets in Excel / Google Sheets
