SUMMARY
This position entails overseeing the development, maintenance, and support of AutoZone’s software systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participates in any and potentially all roles of the systems development life cycle.
- Roles may vary by project and assignment. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Develop and/or maintain software applications and/or enterprise systems.
- Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment. Continuous learning of AutoZone Culture, Methodology, Architecture, and Software.
- Mentor less experienced AutoZoners.
REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4+ years of professional programming with Java.
- Professional experience with Spring boot.
- Technical skills may include experience with one or more of:
Operative Systems (UNIX, Linux, and/or Windows).
Databases (Oracle, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL).
- Problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Professional English communication.
