Job Description
Our client is a software development and digital solutions company serving clients across the FinTech, iGaming, and Marketing sectors. The company has successfully delivered 20+ innovative products across international markets, including Brazil, Armenia, Saudi Arabia, Dubai. The company is now launching a new project in Tbilisi (Georgia).
The three-month probation period for this position requires training in Dubai (company's headquarter). Following probation, the role will be based in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend APIs and services using Node.js and Golang.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, test, and optimize backend applications to ensure performance, security, and quality.
- Collaborate with Frontend Engineers, QA, Product, and other stakeholders, while participating in code reviews and following development best practices.
- Manage assigned tasks independently or within a team, meet deadlines and quality standards, and support other technical tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, deep understanding of NodeJS/Golang.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- APIs and Protocols: Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
- Large-Scale Data Processing & Microservices: Experience handling large-scale data processing, including designing efficient data flows, optimizing queries, and working with high-volume datasets. Solid understanding of microservices architecture, service communication, scalability, and distributed systems.
- Database Proficiency: Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis, along with solid understanding of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Familiarity with ODM/ORM tools such as Mongoose, TypeORM, or Sequelize is a plus.
