Job Title: Entry-Level Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cloud Engineer with a strong interest in cloud computing, infrastructure automation, and DevOps. The ideal candidate will assist in deploying, managing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions while supporting cloud infrastructure, automation, and application deployment. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–4 years of experience who are eager to build their careers in cloud engineering and modern infrastructure technologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Support cloud-based application deployments and infrastructure management.
  • Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and security.
  • Assist in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Automate routine cloud administration tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to support application deployment and release processes.
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, and IT teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
  • Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management.
  • Document cloud architecture, deployment procedures, and operational processes.
  • Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices.


Required Skills

  • 1–4 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, System Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Understanding of cloud services including compute, storage, networking, and security.
  • Experience with Linux or Windows server administration.
  • Knowledge of scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, Load Balancers, and Firewalls.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A relevant Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Must be willing to relocate anywhere within the United States for onsite client projects.
