Remote working - Occasional travel to required.

£90,000 - £110,000 per annum.

We are seeking a Head of IT to assist us with the delivery of an ambitious roadmap of technological evolution. As a successful financial services organisation, we recognise the importance of technology for both out internal and end users. This is a newly created role designed to manage the technology team, external partners and to work closely with the C-Suite to understand our Technology roadmap and assist with mitigating risks, delivering on our ambition, and ensuring we remain relevant to our customers in the future.

• The role will see you working on various facets, to include:
• Migration from on-premises to Cloud,
• 'Data strategy' to include Data Analytics, dashboards, etc.
• Core Banking/Open Banking/API
• Digital channels - Internal/External
• Architecture overhaul.
• Business as usual - Service operations.

This role goes beyond a caretaker role. You will be an active member of the weekly board meeting, where the senior leadership will look to you for advice and progress reports. Ensuring all work is undertaken with Cyber Security, Regulatory and Auditing in mind.

Our IT function is a 100% remote function. However, some travel to Essex is envisaged to facilitate communication. This will be minimal in the region of 3-5 days a month, if at all.
