Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Analyst with a strong interest in data analysis, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help organizations improve processes, identify trends, and support strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–4 years of experience who are eager to build their careers in data analytics and business intelligence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using data analytics tools.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Perform data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Support the development and automation of reporting processes.
  • Create and maintain documentation for datasets, reports, and analytical processes.

Required Skills:

  • 1–4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
  • Understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of statistics, forecasting, and predictive analytics.
  • Experience with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience creating interactive dashboards and KPI reports.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • A relevant Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Must be willing to relocate anywhere within the United States for onsite client projects.
