Job Description
Company Description
Tagada is the all-in-one ecommerce OS for performance-driven DTC brands: checkout, CRM, funnels, analytics, processor orchestration and payment processing, API and SDK, AI agents, all in one stack.
The company focuses on unlocking higher conversions, increasing average order value, and driving predictable recurring revenue for high volume ecommerce brands.
Key features include payment processing, conversion-optimized checkout, native upsells, automated subscription management, AI-powered routing, PCI-compliant data vault, analytics dashboards, fraud and chargeback protection, and robust API and SDK tools.
Here is where we are:
- On track to cross $1B in annualized processing volume on a run rate basis, in only our second year
- Eight figures in net revenue
- 100% bootstrapped. No VC, no board, no permission slips
- Built by operators who scaled $50M+ in ecommerce before building the tool they wished existed
We did all of that with almost no marketing function. That is the opportunity. Imagine what happens when someone actually owns it.
What you will own
1. Strategy, paid and organic
Positioning, messaging, channel mix, budget allocation. You set CAC, payback and pipeline targets and you defend them with numbers. You decide what gets funded and what gets killed.
2. Execution

This is not an advisory seat. You run the strategy into the ground floor with the team every single week and you are accountable for the output, not for the plan.
3. Retention
Work with product and engineering to build the retention layer inside the app: onboarding, activation, lifecycle triggers, in-app comms. Acquisition is half the job. Keeping merchants is the other half.
The scope
- Paid ads: own the media buying team, budgets, creative testing, scaling
- Social media: own the SMM team across LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram
- Influencers: own the influencer team, from sourcing to negotiation to attributed performance
- Email and lifecycle: full ownership of the email engine, acquisition through retention
- Events and shows: own our presence at ecommerce and payments events, from booth to closed pipeline
- Online reputation: own how Tagada shows up publicly, Trustpilot, G2, review platforms, communities, and the narrative around the brand
You are a fit if you
- Have built and scaled marketing at a SaaS, fintech or ecommerce company and have the numbers to prove it
- Have run serious paid budgets and can talk CAC, LTV, payback and channel economics without hiding behind impressions
- Have managed specialists across multiple channels and made them measurably better
- Are as comfortable writing the hook as reading the cohort report
- Live in the DTC and performance marketing world, because that is exactly who our merchants are
- Operate without supervision. Nobody here is going to chase you for a status update

The package
- $120,000 USD base salary
- Commission tied to growth you actually drive
- Possible equity. For the right person, we are open to discussing ownership in a bootstrapped company that is not diluting anyone
- Full remote, work from wherever you are effective
- Direct line to the founders. No committees, no politics, no 6 week approval cycles
Now the part that matters
We are not hiring a manager. We are hiring a weapon.
If your day ends at 6pm no matter what is on fire, this is not for you. If you need a process before you can act, this is not for you. If your best work happens when someone else sets the direction, this is not for you.
We move at a speed that most people find uncomfortable. The person we hire finds it normal. They are already doing this in their current job and they are frustrated that nobody around them is keeping up.
If that is you, you already know it.
PS: If we get on a call together, come prepared with your track record and the one growth play you would run for Tagada in your first 90 days. Be specific. Generic answers end the conversation fast.
