I'm working with a top tier systematic trading firm that are looking to hire a TechOps / Trade Application specialist engineer for their growing Abu Dhabi team.
The role will cover monitoring, supporting and optimising critical trading infrastructure powering the client's operations. You'll work alongside traders, engineers and business facing stakeholders, in a high impact, high ownership function directly contributing to PnL success.

- Providing technical support to trading systems across multiple asset classes
- Proactively monitor, investigate and resolve production issues
- Automation of daily workflow
- Extend monitoring and observability tooling through automation
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary technical teams ensuring system performance
- Own end to end incident management

- Solid experience supporting trading systems (ideally in a buy side environment)
- Comprehensive Linux/Unix knowledge
- Bash & Python scripting ability
- Strong communication ability
- Solid knowledge and experience of FIX protocol
- Exchange connectivity understanding
- Basic networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Multicast, DNS, Troubleshooting)
- SQL proficiency
