Description

Our client recently invested in Datadog as their network monitoring tool. As a result, they want to bring someone onto the team with strong experience setting up and maintaining Datadog. This person will support their infrastructure and monitoring needs. This is not a devops role; it is a network monitoring role and candidates will need experience with SNMP and NDM (network device management).

Qualified Candidates Will Have The Following Experience

  • Initial Datadog setup and configuration (metrics-focused)
  • Designing and implementing a Datadog tagging architecture (standards, consistency, and best practices across infrastructure)
  • Ongoing maintenance, tuning, dashboards, and alerting best practices
  • Windows Server monitoring
  • Linux environments (RHEL and Ubuntu)
  • Network equipment monitoring (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto)
  • SNMP-based monitoring


Nice-to-haves

  • Syslog ingestion and analysis
  • Integrations with ServiceNow (incident/event workflows)
  • Experience operating Datadog in a large or enterprise-scale environment
  • Ability to help document standards and mentor internal teams on metrics and dashboards

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
