Location: 100% Remote

Illustration Art Director
Summary
- Lead the art direction and hands-on execution of illustrations and simple animations for in-product experiences.
- Scale and maintain a consistent illustration system across multiple product teams while evolving the internal style guide.
- Partner closely with product designers, engineers, content designers, illustrators, and animators to create clear visual storytelling.
- Create creative briefs, provide feedback to illustrators, and ensure high-quality visual assets through iterative collaboration.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional craft, consistency, and attention to detail.
Must-Have Skills
- 4+ years of professional illustration experience.
- Strong Art Direction experience.
- Outstanding illustration portfolio demonstrating both creative direction and hands-on execution (composition, color, conceptual thinking).
- Expert proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and vector graphics.
- Experience creating or directing simple vector animations in Adobe After Effects.
- Experience adopting and working within established illustration/brand systems.
- Strong visual storytelling for digital product experiences.
- Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Portfolio required with submission.
