Senior Software Engineer

The Role:
We're delighted to have partnered with a disruptive and ambitious trading technology start-up. The organisation have encountered a very exciting growth period and looking to expand all areas of development.
They need a Senior Engineer to play a key role in the architecture and building of the platform. The role involves working with both C++ and Golang with the hope of migrating services over to Rust as part of their strategic roadmap.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Linux C++ developer with a keen eye for detail and an overriding passion for technology and software development.
Essential Skills:
- At least 3 years' experience in C++14, C++17 or C++20
- Git version control
- Linux Networking
- Linux systems programming
- Python & Shell Scripting
Desirable Experience:
- At least one of TCP, Multicast, FIX or Binary protocols
- Network packet capture & analyais
- Aeron messaging
- Kubernetes & Docker
- A desire to learn Golang and/or Rust
Permanent / Full-Time Employment.
Fully remote working environment in the UK.
