We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will assist in testing web and mobile applications, identifying defects, and ensuring software products meet quality standards before release. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a career in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Execute manual testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications
Create, review, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
Verify bug fixes and conduct re-testing before product releases
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members
Report testing progress and provide detailed defect reports
Ensure software quality meets business and technical requirements
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and testing activities
Continuously learn and apply software testing best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance (internship/project experience is acceptable)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and methodologies
Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps
Basic understanding of SQL for database validation
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
