Cloud Engineer

Develocraft is currently looking for a Cloud Engineer who embodies an Infrastructure as Code mindset and has extensive experience in cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Qualifications:

-Experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and building solutions on top of them.

-Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, particularly with Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.

-Proficiency in managing GCP services like Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Google Cloud Storage (GCS), BigQuery (BQ), and Dataproc.

-Strong programming skills, especially in Python and/or Go languages.

-Practical knowledge in monitoring, logging, and alerting implementations.

Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain a robust platform.

-Manage and enhance components of the data analytics platform.

-Participate in architectural design discussions and exploratory projects.

-Develop solutions following cloud best practices and Infrastructure as Code principles.

-Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure platform reliability and performance.
