Job Description
Senior IT Security Manager | €100,000 | Remote Europe | German Required
We're partnering with a fast-growing construction-tech SaaS company on a senior individual contributor hire to own their entire security and compliance function.
Founded in 2019, €45M raised, 100+ people, and supporting over £4B in volume. Enterprise customers are core to the business and this role exists to build and run the security and compliance infrastructure that earns and keeps their trust.
What you'll own
- ISO 27001 end-to-end gap analysis through certification, then running the ISMS: risk management, Statement of Applicability, internal audits, annual control cycle
- Enterprise security questionnaires and RFIs owning responses that help Sales close deals faster
- Customer and supplier audits representing the company independently in front of enterprise CISOs and auditors, in German or English
- GDPR operations drafting and negotiating DPAs, managing subprocessors, vendor reviews, DSARs
- IT governance and access management via JumpCloud MDM, SSO, device policies, joiner/mover/leaver processes
- Defining the IT security baseline across device hardening, SaaS tooling governance, and security awareness.

What they're looking for
- Full professional fluency in German and English this is a firm requirement, not a preference
- Deep, hands-on ISO 27001 experience you've built or run an ISMS and led a company through certification
- Operational GDPR expertise DPAs, Art. 28, subprocessor management, DSARs in practice
- Genuine technical literacy you can read an architecture diagram and have a credible conversation with engineers about what needs to change
- AI-first working style you already use Claude, Claude Code, or similar tools daily and see them as a force multiplier, not a novelty
- Independence in front of customers comfortable as the sole security counterpart in an enterprise audit
