Job Title: Low-Code / No-Code (Mendix) Application Developer/Tester
Location: 100% Remote (Must be available to work Arizona business hours)
Duration: 3+ Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) Application Developer/Tester with hands-on Mendix expertise to support the rapid development and testing of enterprise applications. This role involves collaborating with Business Analysts, Scrum teams, and stakeholders to design, develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have strong Mendix development skills, experience with software testing, and the ability to work on fast-paced, high-visibility projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather requirements and translate business needs into Mendix applications.
- Participate in application design sessions and contribute to system architecture and process improvements.
- Analyze current business processes and document workflows, business rules, and future-state process models.
- Develop and configure Mendix applications, including:
- Microflows and Nanoflows
- Domain Models
- UI Pages and Components
- Data Integrations and External Data Sources
- Perform application development, unit testing, integration testing, and deployment activities.
- Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and coordinate testing with business stakeholders.
- Conduct data validation, quality assurance, and application troubleshooting.
- Support pre-production and production deployments while resolving application defects.
- Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and blockers to project leadership.
- Assist with defect resolution and ongoing application enhancements.

Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience developing applications using Mendix or another Low-Code/No-Code platform.
- Experience developing, testing, and deploying applications in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with JIRA for sprint planning, backlog management, and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of SQL Server including querying, reporting, and basic diagnostics.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced development environment.
