Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic, growth-obsessed Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our client's global marketing function and serve as the engine of pipeline and revenue growth with a primary go-to-market focus on North America. This is a revenue-accountable leadership role: the CMO owns demand generation, lead generation, and qualified-lead targets as the central mandate of the position, and is accountable for marketing’s contribution to ARR, market expansion, and category positioning.
Selling category-defining industrial AI into heavy industries steel, cement, mining, metals, chemicals, manufacturing, and more requires marketing that speaks the language of plant heads, reliability and maintenance leaders, operations VPs, and the C-suite. The CMO will build and scale a modern, data-driven marketing organization that consistently delivers a predictable, high-quality flow of Marketing-Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Sales-Qualified Leads (SQLs), accelerates enterprise pipeline, and drives efficient customer acquisition.
The role also oversees brand, product marketing, digital, customer marketing, and analytics but the north star is measurable lead generation and revenue contribution. The ideal candidate brings deep B2B / enterprise marketing expertise and a proven track record of hitting and exceeding lead generation and pipeline targets in high-growth technology companies, ideally selling into industrial, manufacturing, or complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
As a senior member of the executive team, the CMO owns the company’s marketing and demand-generation engine and is accountable for marketing’s contribution to ARR, market expansion, and category positioning. Core mandates:
• Define and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned to revenue and growth targets.

• Own demand generation and the marketing-sourced pipeline; partner with Sales on a shared funnel and SLAs.
• Lead brand, positioning, and messaging establish the category narrative and competitive differentiation.
• Direct product marketing, including launches, GTM motions, and sales enablement.
• Build and manage the marketing org across demand gen, content, product marketing, comms, ops, and design.
• Own the marketing budget and ROI, reporting on CAC, payback, and pipeline contribution.
• Drive the mar tech stack and analytics attribution, funnel metrics, and forecasting.
• Lead corporate communications, PR, analyst relations, and thought leadership.
• Support new market and geographic expansion with localized GTM strategy.
Success Metrics — First 12 Months
• Marketing-sourced pipeline and ARR contribution.
• Consistent attainment of monthly and quarterly MQL/SQL targets.
• Improved CAC, CAC payback, and pipeline conversion rates.
• Clear, differentiated market positioning and a built-out, accountable marketing function.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with several years at the VP/CMO level.
• 7+ years in B2B / enterprise technology or SaaS; experience marketing into industrial, manufacturing, or complex enterprise buyers is a strong plus.
• Proven, demonstrable track record of owning and exceeding lead generation, MQL/SQL, and pipeline targets.
• Experience leading marketing teams in high-growth technology companies and aligning marketing and sales around a single revenue number.
• Strong understanding of subscription, recurring-revenue, and outcomes-based business models; fluent in marketing financials (CAC, payback, ROI).
• Experience with international markets preferred.
