Job Description
About the company
Our client is a Series B identity security company backed by Greylock and Battery Ventures, with $34M raised and 4x ARR growth since their Series A. The best security and engineering teams in tech use their platform to govern access for everyone and everything in the modern enterprise, from employees and contractors to service accounts and AI agents. Their customer list runs from hypergrowth infrastructure companies to the Fortune 500, and the contracts are technical, six-figure, and sticky. At 60 people, product decisions happen in days, not quarters.
The role
This is the company's first senior Product Manager, reporting directly to a brand new CPO who has explicitly framed this hire as his number two and part of succession planning. You will own one of the two most strategic bets on the roadmap, with a clear path into leadership as the company scales.
What you'll do
- Own one of two greenfield swim lanes: define the agentic security strategy (how enterprises govern what AI agents can access) or build AI agents that accelerate customer outcomes
- Spend roughly half your time directly with enterprise customers, customer success, sales, and sales engineering, validating direction and pressure testing real pain points
- Spend the other half on inbound product planning: writing BRDs, defining requirements, setting KPIs, and managing roadmaps from two weeks to six months out
- Partner with engineering daily to scope sprints, prioritize features, and ship on two-week cycles
- Make decisive calls on whether to kill, pivot, or double down, based on adoption and retention data
- Communicate strategy, trade-offs, and risk through structured writing and presentations to cross-functional stakeholders
