Senior Flutter Developer - AI-Powered Healthcare Education

Role Description We're looking for a Flutter Developer to build and ship mobile apps across our product portfolio. You'll work on a range of products, including one that embeds a third-party game engine view (Unity) within the app, but this is one project among several, not the core focus of the role. We're looking for strong general Flutter engineering skills first; any exposure to embedding native/SDK views (game engines or otherwise) is a bonus, not a requirement.

Qualifications

• A strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with hands-on experience in Flutter and Dart for mobile application development.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and application architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, BLoC, Clean Architecture).
• Experience with Back-End Web Development concepts and API integration, including REST/GraphQL and JSON parsing.
• Knowledge of mobile app deployment processes, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, communicate clearly, and take ownership of features from concept to release.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in healthcare, edtech, or simulation-based products is an advantage, along with familiarity with security and privacy best practices.

What you will do?

• Build and maintain mobile apps in Flutter for Android and iOS from a single codebase
• Build clean, polished UI closely matching Figma designs across a variety of app screens and flows
• Translate raw, sometimes ambiguous requirements into fast, working prototypes
• Implement app-side networking (REST/WebSocket) and integrate with backend services
• On one of our products, embed a third-party engine view (via a Flutter plugin) and pass basic data/events to and from it, full detail and support provided, no prior experience required
• Use agentic AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as part of daily workflow to move quickly
• Collaborate with designers and product stakeholders to iterate rapidly on flows and UI

What we are looking for?

• 3–5 years of professional Flutter development experience, shipped to both Android and iOS
• Strong Dart fundamentals and comfort with Flutter's widget/state management ecosystem (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or similar)
• Proven ability to go from Figma designs to working prototypes with minimal hand-holding
