MVG's Role with RegalEarth Group:MVG serves as the dedicated management company for RegalEarth Group, a Dubai-based mining capital firm. In this capacity, MVG oversees strategic direction, corporate governance, and operational management for RegalEarth's portfolio and project companies.

Job Purpose:Â
RegalEarth Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to establish and lead the Group's global human capital function during a period of rapid international expansion.
Reporting directly to executive management, the Director of Human Resources will develop and implement the Group's people strategy, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains world-class talent across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will build HR policies, systems, and processes from the ground up while supporting business growth across Hong Kong, Dubai, Africa, and other international locations.
This is a senior leadership position requiring both strategic vision and operational excellence, with responsibility for talent acquisition, organizational development, compensation, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and HR governance.

Works closely with:Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Regional Country Managers, Legal & Compliance, and Department Heads.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the Group's global human resources strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Establish HR governance, policies, procedures, and best practices across all business units.
- Build scalable HR systems capable of supporting international growth.
- Advise executive management on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead executive and professional recruitment across multiple international markets.
- Develop employer branding initiatives to attract top global talent.
- Establish recruitment standards, interview processes, and selection frameworks.
- Work closely with department heads to forecast staffing requirements.
- Build relationships with international recruitment firms and executive search partners.
Performance Management & Organizational Development
- Design and implement performance management systems, KPIs, and employee evaluation frameworks.
- Develop leadership development and succession planning programs.
- Establish employee learning and professional development initiatives.
- Promote a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative organizational culture.
Compensation & Benefits
- Design competitive global compensation and benefits structures.
- Conduct market salary benchmarking across relevant jurisdictions.
- Develop incentive schemes, bonus programs, and long-term retention strategies.
- Ensure compensation structures align with business objectives and local employment regulations.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Develop employee handbooks, HR policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Oversee employment contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and personnel documentation.
- Manage HRIS implementation and personnel data management.
- Ensure compliance with immigration, work visa, and international employment requirements.
Employee Relations

- Build and lead the Human Resources department.
- Manage HR budgets and resource planning.
- Present workforce analytics and HR reports to executive management and the Board when required.
- Drive continuous improvement across all HR functions.
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree or MBA is strongly preferred.
- Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- At least 5 years in a senior HR leadership position.
- Experience building HR departments within fast-growing international organizations.
- Experience supporting multinational operations across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in mining, natural resources, infrastructure, engineering, or investment sectors is considered an advantage.
