Security Engineer or Cyber Security Engineer
Knowledge;
Snowflake, AWS Aurora, Couchbase, Cassandra, DB2 Mainframe, DB2 LUW (UDB), Oracle, SQL Server, Sailfish
Required to be proficient in database security for the following platforms:
Snowflake, AWS Aurora, Couchbase, Cassandra, DB2 Mainframe, DB2 LUW (UDB), Oracle, SQL Server, Sailfish.
- Responsible for Provisioning and Deprovisioning User and Service Account access to the different database platforms.
- Required to be proficient in cyberark
- Responsible for troubleshooting and consulting IAM Database Security Issues on Snowflake, AWS Aurora, Couchbase, Cassandra, DB2 Mainframe, DB2 LUW (UDB), Oracle, SQL Server, Sailfish
- Responsible for managing the queue work associated with the lifecycle management of service accounts on databases to including creating, provisioning, altering and retiring.
- Responsible for troubleshooting authentication issues, including Cyberark issues, for database service accounts
- Responsible for managing the queue work associated with the lifecycle management of user access to databases to including creating, provisioning, altering and retiring
- Responsible for weekly ACC support for team
- Responsible for managing terminations of access on the databases
- Responsible for assisting in control testing, evidence gathering and access reviews
- Responsible for addressing any technical issues and guiding team on the same.
- Responsible for assigning and managing all design, development and implementation activities for all in scope work types
- Responsible for ensuring a peer review is conducted for all changes
- Responsible for ensuring all activities utilize standard USAA approved technology
- Escalation point with other IT teams
- Responsible for ensuring all configuration changes, code changes and development activities follow USAA approved change and release processes
- Responsible for team process improvements to include designing, developing and implementing
