PHP Backend Engineer - Smoobu (m/f/d)

How you'll add value:

• Building and perfecting a variety of APIs to enable seamless integration with external partners as well as inter-service communication
• Work hand-in-hand with business stakeholders to identify requirements, plan milestones, and polish features by measuring their performance
• Choose adequate technical and business metrics to monitor features and manage the risk
• Apply engineering best practices to the current team environment
• Contribute to the resolution of technical design issues
  
  

You'll be successful in this role if you:

• Have solid relevant experience in Backend engineering (latest PHP versions)
• Are proficient with relational databases (MySQL)
• Practical experience with TDD, BDD, SOLID Principles and distributed architectural patterns
• Experience working with Docker and container orchestration technologies
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a distributed cross-functional team
• Are fluent in English

• Familiarity with Frontend technologies (React)
