Remote Systems Administrator
Location: 100% Remote (Must be comfortable working EST hours)
Duration: 3โ6 Month Contract with Potential Conversion
Pay Range: $30-38/hr DOE
We're looking for a Systems Administrator with strong end-user support experience to join a growing healthcare organization that is currently expanding its IT team. This role is a blend of Tier 2/3 support and systems administration, providing hands-on support while helping manage and improve a Microsoft-focused environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for hardware, software, account access, and infrastructure issues
- Support Windows-based systems, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices
- Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune
- Manage user accounts, permissions, security groups, and device inventories
- Handle onboarding and offboarding activities
- Support endpoint management, software deployment, patching, and compliance initiatives
- Troubleshoot networking issues involving DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP, and wireless connectivity
- Work closely with end users to deliver a high level of customer support
- Identify recurring problems and recommend process improvements

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of IT support, Desktop Support, Systems Administration, or similar experience
- Strong Microsoft ecosystem experience:
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory / Entra ID
- Exchange Online
- Intune
- Teams
- SharePoint
- Experience supporting Windows environments
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
