Level 2 Automation Engineer / Software Engineer
Location: Calvert, AL (Near Mobile)

We're partnering with an industry-leading manufacturing organization to identify a talented Level 2 Automation Engineer to join a highly advanced production facility on Alabama's Gulf Coast.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation technologies, develop software that directly impacts manufacturing operations, and contribute to one of North America's most technologically advanced industrial environments.
What You'll Do- Develop, maintain, and enhance Level 2 automation systems supporting a high-volume manufacturing operation
- Design and implement software solutions using languages such as C#, C++, and FORTRAN
- Maintain and optimize SQL databases containing critical production and process data
- Analyze production performance and troubleshoot automation issues to improve system reliability and efficiency
- Support Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications and other digital manufacturing tools
- Conduct root cause analysis and incident investigations using specialized diagnostic tools
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and IT teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Use statistical analysis and process data to optimize manufacturing performance

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical discipline
- Strong programming skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to learn complex industrial processes and work independently while collaborating across teams
