Senior MLOps Engineer - AI Project

🌍 About the Role

We are looking for an MLOps Engineer to join a strategic AI project focused on improving digital capabilities through the efficient deployment, management, and operation of AI-powered applications.

This role focuses on bridging the gap between Data Science and IT Operations, ensuring that Machine Learning solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and production-ready.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining AI solutions, collaborating closely with Data Scientists, Product Owners, Technology teams, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative and high-impact AI applications.

📍 Please note: This is a 100% remote position, but candidates must currently reside in Spain.

What You'll Do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain AI applications using Python.
• Implement and manage Machine Learning solutions in production environments.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain applications using Kubernetes.
• Design and develop ETL pipelines using Python and Spark.
• Build and maintain APIs for AI and Machine Learning services.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions, Sonar, Fortify, and similar tools.
• Develop automated tests using Pytest to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve AI applications in production.
• Work with orchestration platforms such as Airflow and Control-M.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable and production-ready AI solutions.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Around 4 years of experience developing and maintaining production applications with AI components.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience developing and deploying applications on Kubernetes.
• Experience building ETL pipelines using Python and Spark.
• Experience creating APIs related to AI/ML services.
• Solid understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of production applications.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Pytest.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset focused on innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS (Step Functions) and/or Azure Functions or Azure Durable Functions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience managing and deploying Machine Learning models using MLflow or Kubeflow.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Control-M.
• Experience with platforms such as Databricks or Cloudera.

• Experience with Kafka or other streaming technologies.

• Experience with OCR and intelligent document processing solutions.

• Knowledge of C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with mathematical optimization tools such as Pyomo, Gurobi, CBC, or CPLEX.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
