Sportsafe KSA is part of ABEO Middle East, a division of the ABEO Group, one of the world's leading manufacturers and service providers of sports, gymnastics, leisure and recreation equipment.
Working alongside Sportsafe UK, we provide inspection, maintenance, repair and installation services for schools, sports facilities, gyms, climbing centres, leisure venues and entertainment facilities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As our operations continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to lead our technical activities in Saudi Arabia.

About the Role
This is a hybrid technical and commercial position combining field engineering, customer relationship management and operational coordination.
As the most senior technical representative in Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering services while supporting business development, managing customer relationships and providing technical leadership to Field Service Engineers.
You will work closely with the Regional Director and the Sportsafe UK team to ensure outstanding service delivery across the Kingdom.
Full product and systems training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead inspection, maintenance, repair and installation activities across Saudi Arabia.
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers throughout the service lifecycle.
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional services and projects.
- Manage quotations, service orders and customer follow-up using company systems.
- Carry out equipment inspections, fault diagnosis and complex repairs.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support to Field Service Engineers.
- Maintain accurate reporting and contribute to continuous improvement across operations.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced engineer with strong technical expertise and a customer-focused mindset.
Essential
- Significant experience in field service, maintenance or technical engineering.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Experience managing customer relationships in a service environment.
- Practical experience with installation, maintenance and repair activities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Valid driving licence recognised in Saudi Arabia.
- Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia, or willingness to relocate under company-sponsored visa and Iqama arrangements.
Preferred
- Previous experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
- Commercial awareness, including quotations, customer support or account management.
- Experience working at height.
- Electrical or electro-mechanical knowledge.
- Arabic language skills.
