Senior Associate Brand Manager

About the Role

A leading consumer goods company is looking for a Senior Associate Brand Manager to help drive growth for a brand within the Feminine Care business. This role combines brand strategy, marketing execution, consumer insights, analytics, and cross-functional leadership to deliver strong commercial performance.

Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, you'll work closely with teams across Insights & Analytics, Sales, Customer Development, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, and agency partners.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Growth

  • Lead key marketing initiatives that strengthen the brand's market position.
  • Support new product launches, pricing initiatives, and other growth programs.
  • Execute annual marketing plans aligned with broader brand strategies.
  • Deliver commercial programs that achieve financial objectives.

Marketing Execution

  • Apply core marketing levers including:
  • Pricing
  • Distribution
  • Merchandising
  • Advertising
  • Promotions
  • Innovation
  • E-commerce
  • Coordinate execution across multiple internal teams and external partners.

Consumer & Market Analysis

  • Analyze syndicated retail data (e.g., Nielsen and IRI).
  • Monitor:
  • Brand performance
  • Market share
  • Category trends
  • Product performance
  • Marketing ROI
  • Combine multiple data sources, including digital performance metrics, to identify opportunities.

Consumer Insights

  • Identify consumer and shopper needs.
  • Translate market trends into actionable marketing recommendations.
  • Develop insight-driven presentations and business cases.
  • Use research to guide brand strategy and innovation.

Retail & Commercial Planning

  • Develop strategies for:
  • Distribution
  • Packaging
  • Shelf placement
  • Merchandising
  • Work with customer teams to build joint growth plans.
  • Translate segmentation and market trends into execution plans for the wider organization.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with:

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred.

Experience

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in brand management or consumer marketing.
  • Previous experience within a consumer packaged goods (CPG) company (full-time or internship).
  • Experience collaborating across multiple business functions.

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with:
  • Nielsen
  • IRI
  • Syndicated retail data
  • Market performance reporting
  • Ability to interpret large datasets and convert findings into business actions.
  • Familiarity with:
  • Brand strategy
  • Innovation planning
  • Marketing planning
  • Digital and e-commerce performance metrics

Preferred Experience

  • E-commerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing.
  • Demand forecasting or Integrated Business Planning (IBP/S&OP).
  • P&L management.
